Donations to Singapore Red Cross now possible at iNets kiosks

Charitable individuals can now make their donations to the Singapore Red Cross on-the-go at 96 iNets Kiosks islandwide.

These are located at MRT stations, bus interchanges, petrol stations and shopping malls.

In a statemen on Monday afternoon, Mr Benjamin William, the organisation's secretary-general, said: "We rely on public donations and goodwill to run our local and international humanitarian services, so we are constantly looking at ways to make giving convenient for our donors. With the partnership with iNets, our supporters who do not have credit cards, cheque books and internet access can donate with a touch of a button in their neighbourhood.

Said Ms Cynthia Liaw, General Manager, Consumer Services, Nets: "As more people start to make donations while paying their bills, we hope that this will cultivate a positive habit of giving to charity."
