26,000 people attend NDP preview at floating platform at Marina Bay

More than 26,000 people caught a sneak peek of this year's National Day Parade on Saturday at the preview show on The Floating Platform @ Marina Bay.

Directed by veteran Chingay parade director Fan Dong Kai, the two-and-a-half-hour show was built around the theme of "Loving Singapore, Our Home".

Features included song-and-dance numbers, the Red Lion paratroopers, and several displays of fireworks.

In addition to marking Singapore's 47th birthday, the parade also celebrates 45 years of National Service.
