Part of UIC Building collapses along Shenton Way

A loud crash occurred at 5 Shenton Way earlier on Thursday afternoon when a disused building collapsed.

The incident occurred at about 4.30pm at a work site opposite the DBS building.

According to workers at an adjacent construction site, the three-storey building was being demolished when it collapsed.

An excavator on the building was part of the wreckage.
