Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (SCMS) participants can take part in pre-event test runs on Sept 24.
The runs, held over four distances (5.2km, 10.5km, 16km or 21km), will take place at the Singapore Sports Hub. Runners will be accompanied by pacers.
Organisers say the event, dubbed the SCMS 2016 - The Official Warm Up, will help runners gauge their fitness levels ahead of race day on Dec 4.
Actual race-day conditions, such as water points, split start pens and first-aid stations, will also be simulated.
Registration for the event is open at www.marathonsingapore.com.
The pre-event run is also open to those who have not signed up for the SCMS.
Prices range from $25 to $50 for SCMS 2016 participants and Standard Chartered Bank card-holders, and $35 to $60 for others.
