SINGAPORE - Want to play some tennis with a Grand Slam champion? Six readers will get a chance to meet and go up against Iva Majoli, the 1997 French Open champion, at 10am tomorrow, Monday, Oct 20 at the Sports Hub's OCBC Arena.

Think you are up for it?

Tell us who Majoli beat in 1997, with your name and contact number, and send it to stsportscontest@sph.com.sg by 6pm today. Winners will be notified by 8pm.

Majoli was the first Croat to win Wimbledon and only the second Croat to capture a Grand Slam title.

In 1997, at the age of 19, Majoli won the 1997 French Open singles title, defeating hot favourite Martina Hingis in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.

Most had expected then 16-year-old Hingis to take the title. However, Majoli's agressive play from the baseline led her to victory and ended Hingis's 37-match winning streak.

Majoli is in Singapore to play in the inaugural WTA Legends Event at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals which starts tomorrow. The WTA Legends Event is scheduled for Session 1 (Monday, Oct 20), Session 4 (Wednesday, Oct 22) and Session 6 (Thursday, Oct 23).
