SINGAPORE - Former top tennis player Li Na is enjoying her time as a mother, she said in a video interview for the WTA Finals.

"Every day is different, so when she smiles to me, I'm like 'wow...'", she said in the video published on Wednesday on the Women's Tennis Association's YouTube channel.

"Finally, I can enjoy family life and be a mum," she added in reply to fan questions.

Li, who hung up her racket last year, was in Singapore as the WTA Ambassador.

The Chinese player, who reached a career-high world No. 2, visited private Peranakan museum The Intan, and presented the inaugural Li Na Inspiration Award to two girls on her trip.
