Retired tennis legend Martina Navratilova guides Naval Base Secondary School student Nur Nabila Malek, 13, on how to hit a forehand at a charity fund-raiser yesterday.

Swiss doubles tennis player Martina Hingis was also present at the event, called "Play with the Stars & Play for Change", held at the OCBC Arena practice courts.

It raised $25,000 for the SportCares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SportSingapore and ActiveSG, the national movement for sport.
