Former world No. 1 and five-time Grand Slam winner Martina Hingis showing off the latest addition to her set of jewellery yesterday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium - her one-of-a-kind Hall of Fame ring.
The coveted rings are presented to inductees at tennis events around the world. Hingis received hers from Hall of Fame chief executive officer and former tennis player Todd Martin.
Said Hingis: "These are the moments we play for. I cherish every moment I come out here.
"When you see players like Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King, we're just trying to make a little bit of history and follow in their footsteps."
The Swiss, who has made a successful comeback in doubles and is featuring in the WTA Finals with India's Sania Mirza, was inducted into the International Hall of Fame in 2013.
