SINGAPORE - Feng Tianwei's slump continued at the International Table Tennis Federation Swedish Open on Friday, when the Singapore star was knocked out in the first round of the singles event.

The world No. 7 was shocked 6-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-6, 6-11, 11-9, 11-5 by Ukraine's Tetyana Bilenko, who is ranked No. 46.

The result comes on the back of a disappointing showing by the Singaporean at the Women's World Cup late last month, when she was also booted out in the opening round by a lower-ranked opponent.

Team-mate Yu Mengyu had a better time in Stockholm, beating German Chantal Mantz 8-11, 11-7, 12-10, 11-7, 8-11, 11-9.
