Synchronised swimming: Debbie Soh wins four gold medals at S'pore National C'ships

National synchro swimmer Debbie Soh ended off her eventful sporting year with four gold medals at the 10th Singapore National Synchronised Swimming Championships.

The 17-year-old, who represented the Singapore Swimming Association, struck gold in the 16-18 age group for the figures and solo free; figures and duet free routines; as well as in the open age group for the solo technical and solo free; and duet technical and duet free events. All were in the international category.

She pipped duet partner Gwyneth Goh to the top spot in the figures and solo free routine with a score of 142.9126.

Other SEA Games swimmers - Miya Yong and Carolyn Rayna Buckle, as well as Aquatic Performance Swim Club swimmers Julia Smithing and Ann-Laura Bourdages - were also among the winners in the events.The championships took place over the weekend.
