ROME - An 18-year-old freestyle skier is leaving mouths agape across the globe after completing a jaw-dropping ski jump in a world first and posting it online.

While performing at the Suzuki Nine Royals competition in Italy, Andri Ragettli became the first person to complete a quad cork 1800 on skis, according to reports.

The stunning routine involved the Swiss teenager completing five rotations while flipping four times off-axis.

"So stoked to land my first ever quad cork 1800!" Ragettli said on his Facebook page, in a post which has been viewed more than half a million times.
