SINGAPORE- Swimmer Quah Zheng Wen has been unveiled as the new face of Liberty Insurance as part of their new national branding campaign, "Embracing simple joys".
Under the campaign, Quah will appear in print advertisements and in-house materials for the company. Liberty Insurance declined to reveal the monetary value of the year-long sponsorship.
The company will also be organising swimming clinics for children as part of their public outreach programme. Though details have yet to be finalised, the clinics will be rolled out within a year.
Said Chang Sucheng, CEO of Liberty Insurance Singapore: "Despite Zheng Wen's intensive schedule, he still finds time to enjoy the simple joys in life. We are proud to be partnering with Zheng Wen to inspire future generations of athletes, as well as to rally Singaporeans to cheer on Team Singapore during the Olympic Games."
Quah, who is entering into the final stage of preparations before the Rio Games in August, said about his partnership with Liberty Insurance: "I've never done something like this before, but it's been pretty fun and it's a really new experience."
