SINGAPORE - Rachel See retained her half marathon title at the Osim Sundown Marathon held from Saturday night to Sunday morning (March 26) held at the F1 Pit Building.
The 34-year-old, who is the mother of two children aged four and eight, clocked 1hr 32min to win the 21km race.
She finished ahead of Italian Giulia Bossi (1:34:33) and Singaporean Aileen Tan (1:35:04).
See has already met the SEA Games qualification mark for the women's marathon.
She took part in the Sundown marathon with her husband Poon Zi Li.
See said: "I wanted to remain consistent with my runs. These runs help me to remain competitive and get the feel of running in a competition."
In the men's half marathon, Shenzhen native Song Yang Yang clocked 1:20:54 to win the event, ahead of Singaporean Evan Chee (1:22:31) and German Matt Hoffmann (1:24:42).
In the women's 42.195km race, Dubai-based Britishwoman Laura Holton was the first to cross the tape in 3:16:51, comfortably ahead of Hu Xiuying (3:32:15) and Sherlynn Tan (3:37:14).
The men's marathon's results have not been released yet.
