Warriors FC's first win of the S-League football season lifted them off the foot of the table into fifth spot among nine teams.
They beat Garena Young Lions 2-0 last night at Choa Chu Kang Stadium thanks to goals in either half from Hafiz Rahim and Jonathan Behe.
Hougang United held reigning champions Brunei DPMM to a 0-0 draw at Hougang Stadium.
Rashford in running for Euro 2016 squad PARIS • Manchester United teenager Marcus Rashford's stunning introduction to big-time football has come as no surprise to Roy Hodgson and the England manager has not ruled him out of selection for his Euro 2016 squad.
"I would neither rule him in nor rule him out, I just hope he can do well," Hodgson told the British media at a Euro 2016 coaches' briefing in France on Thursday.
"I have been watching Rashford for two years, so I have known about him for a long time. He is in our system."

Phelps gears up well for Olympics
ORLANDO • Olympic superstar Michael Phelps kicked off the Orlando Pro Swim meet on Thursday with victory in the 100m butterfly in 52.28sec.
Phelps, 30, who is hoping to add to his stunning tally of 18 Olympic gold medals at the Rio Games in August, swam the first 50m in 24.62sec and held off fellow American Tom Shields to win.

Both Uefa finals will adopt goal-line tech
NYON • Goal-line technology will be used at this season's Champions League final in Milan and the Europa League final in Basel, Uefa said yesterday.
