Sports World: Russia bans four athletes for doping

MOSCOW • The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) has announced bans for four athletes for doping.

Irina Maracheva, an 800m medallist at the 2012 European Championships, has been banned for two years, along with race walker Anna Lukyanova.

Officials also confirmed a four-year ban for runners Yelena Nikulina and Maria Nikolayeva.
