Murray brings winning streak to Cincinnati

OHIO • Andy Murray picked up where he left off at the Olympics with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Juan Monaco in the second round of the ATP-WTA Cincinnati Masters on Wednesday.

The top seed and world No. 2 was back on the court on Wednesday, just 72 hours after winning the gold medal in the men's tennis tournament at the Rio Games.

Turan double seals Barca's Super Cup win

BARCELONA • Two goals from Arda Turan and one from Lionel Messi gave Barcelona a 3-0 win over Sevilla in the Spanish Super Cup second leg on Wednesday to seal a 5-0 aggregate victory.

The La Liga and King's Cup champions led 2-0 after the first leg in Seville and Turan's opening goal early in the first half set Barca on their way to a big win at a packed Nou Camp.

Entry for CSC swim meet closes today

Swimmers interested in taking part in Chinese Swimming Club's Super Junior Swimming Invitational have until today to register for the Sept 3-4 meet.

The 12-and-under international competition will have top teams from around the region, including Japan.
