Indoor skydiver Kyra captures two titles
Despite being the youngest competitor in her category, 14-year-old local indoor skydiver Kyra Poh came out on top in the Open Freestyle category in the 2nd Indoor Skydiving Championships held in Sydney last Saturday.
Kyra beat more experienced competitors from Estonia and Australia. She was also part of a four-person team that took first place in the four-way "A" team category, beating 13 other teams.
The other members of the Skyblockers Singapore team were 14-year-old Danelle Goh and brothers Joshua Ming-De Lee, 14, and Jordan Ming-En Lee, 12.
Kyra will next compete in October's FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving in Poland, alongside 15-year-old Choo Yi Xuan.
