$15,000 raised for Rainbow Centre

Business chiefs, NorthLight School (NLS) students, celebrities, Deloitte staff, and Team Singapore netballers played two charity matches in aid of Rainbow Centre Singapore at Deloitte Pesta Sukan 2016 yesterday morning.

A total of $15,000 was raised to help the Rainbow Centre, which runs two schools for students with special needs, with the construction of a campus extension.

Gurung tops in New Balance Run On race

Nimesh Gurung, 29, was the champion in the New Balance Run On Singapore 2016, finishing his 7km race in 23 minutes.

More than 5,000 runners took part in the second edition of the event yesterday evening.

Held at Gardens by the Bay (East), runners enjoyed a competitive but scenic run as the route took them past Marina Barrage, Flower Dome, Super Tree Grove, before making a U-turn at the ArtScience Museum.
