The Singapore Sports Hub has signed on Canon Singapore as its latest Founding Partner in a three-year deal announced on Monday.

As the Sports Hub's official printing and imaging partner, Canon will receive branding, hospitality and signage rights in recognition for its sponsorship, which will be in cash and in kind.

In return, Canon will offer Sports Hub and its consortium members its print and document management and specialist outsourcing services. It declined to reveal the financial details of the agreement.

Said Sports Hub chief executive Philippe Collin-Delavaud: "As we work towards contributing to a vibrant sporting scene in Singapore, we see this partnership with Canon as a great fit based on our shared passion of making sports accessible to all Singaporeans."

Canon is the latest brand to be associated with the Sports Hub, which opened earlier this year in June. It has penned deals with OCBC Bank, Great Eastern Life, StarHub, Tiger, T-Systems and Philips.

A long-standing support of local sports, Canon also announced that it has renewed its support with the Singapore Bowling Federation for another two years following its six-year partnership.
