SHANGHAI - The Kia World Extreme Games, which will begin on Wednesday at the Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai, kicked off on Sunday with a spectacular Freestyle Motocross display along The Bund, the city's iconic location.

Australia's top riders Michael Norris and Joel Brown thrilled the crowds with their spins and leaps over a stationary car in front of the Shanghai's city skyline.

About 200 of the world's best action sports athletes from 30 countries will contest in events such as BMX Freestyle, Aggressive In-line, Skateboarding, Speed Climbing and Freestyle Motocross (FMX) Competition. The stars competing this year include Vince Byron, Andy MacDonald, Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Mitchell Brusco, Japan's Yasutoko Brothers and China's Zhong Qixin.
