BEAVER CREEK, Colorado (REUTERS) - Olympic champion Anna Fenninger of Austria stole the limelight from American ski queen and pre-race favourite Lindsey Vonn by winning the women's Super-G on Tuesday at the Alpine ski world championships.

Fenninger, the 2014 big globe winner, sped down the plunging Raptor racecourse in one minute 10.29 seconds with Slovenia's Tina Maze, the world champion in 2013, finishing second and Vonn taking third, according to provisional results.
