Singapore take bronze in women's 50m air rifle three positions

SINGAPORE - Singapore won a team bronze in the women's 50m rifle three positions event on Friday (June 12) morning at the National Shooting Centre.

The team of 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Jasmine Ser, Cheng Jian Huan and Li Yafei had a combined total of 1,710 points, behind Thailand (1,735) and Malaysia (1,718).

Li has moved on to the individual event finals to fight for gold, while Ser has not qualified, finishing ninth out of 14 competitors and Cheng was 13th. Li was second in the qualification with 581 points, behind leader Majchacheep Sununta (Thailand, 584 points).

This is Ser's final event at this SEA Games. She won gold and silver in the women's team and individual air rifle 10m events respectively, and bronzes in the 50m rifle prone team and individual events.
