The public can continue to use the sports facilities at the $1.3 billion Sports Hub for free till Aug 17. Gate One of the National Stadium's West Entrance will also be open every weekend till Aug 18, starting this Saturday.

The move is part of Sports Hub's celebration of National Day. Besides the free usage extension, the Sports Hub will also be screening the National Day Parade live on Aug 9.

Said its chief operating officer Oon Jin Teik: "We wanted to give something back to the community in celebration of this year's National Day. We look forward to welcoming more visitors to watch, play and make sports part of their daily lives."
