The Singapore Sports Hub has appointed Sports Catering Services (SCS) as its exclusive caterer across five of its venues.

SCS is a joint venture between aviation and food company Sats and Delaware North Companies, both of which have had prior experience in providing catering services for sporting events and sports facilities. Sats holds a 70 per cent majority stake in the partnership.

Said Mr Philippe Collin Delavaud, chief executive officer of the Sports Hub: "The combination of specialised expertise... will create a new standard in providing a first-class visitor experience at the Sports Hub.

"We are confident that their extensive experience in innovating food trends, concessions, customer service will 'wow' patrons and provide a new cutting-edge experience when they visit Singapore's newest sports, entertainment and lifestyle destination."

The 21-year contract is expected to generate about $50 million in revenue every year once operations have stabilised.
