SINGAPORE - Squash players Vivian Rhamanan and Marcus Phua are on track to end Singapore's 20-year gold medal drought in the men's jumbo doubles, after making smooth progress into the final on Monday (June 15) morning.

The pair, who have been training together since January 2014, beat Thailand's Phuwis Poonsiri and Chatchawin Tangjaitrong 2-0 in their semi-final tie at the Tanglin Club.

They will face the Indonesian duo of Ade Furkon and Sandi A. Perdana for the gold at 7pm on Monday night.

Furkon and Perdana had defeated Ricky Espinola and David Pelino of Philippines by a similar scoreline in the second semi-final.
