Singapore's swimmers kicked and twirled in the water to Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman, evoking playful dances in an intimate jazz lounge.
Jubilantly flinging their arms out to end the routine, the team was awarded an unofficial score of 77.0667 points - the highest yet for this year's competition and good enough for them to top the rostrum for the second night in a row.
Malaysia, waltzing to the soulful Game Of Thrones theme song, came in second with an unofficial score of 73.73333 points.
The synchronised swimming competition ended on Thursday night, with Singapore's tally standing at two golds in the team (free and technical) and team free combination, and a silver.
Malaysia, who had swept all seven golds on offer at the 2001 and 2011 SEA Games, left with the other gold - the duet (free and technical) - and two silvers.
Indonesia clinched bronze with 71.6667 points.
