SEA Games: Apparel company FBT signs up as official Games uniform partner

Thailand-based sports apparel and equipment company FBT will be the official Games uniform partner for next June's SEA Games in Singapore. The apparel will be worn by volunteers and workforce and officials during the Games.

Over 70,000 pieces of garment worth over $1.5million will be produced, including polo T-shirts, jackets, track pants, and vests.

Said Mr Monchai Chokephaibulkit, FBT's deputy managing director: "FBT have been involved with the SEA Games in various ways since 1993. The 2015 Singapore Games will be the largest sponsorship that we have ever invested into a SEA Games to date, and we look forward to establish FBT as a regional brand for South-east Asia."

FBT also inked a sponsorship deal with the Singapore National Sports Association for Petanque and Sports Boules for four years, starting from next year.
