SINGAPORE- CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) continued their dominance of the schools netball scene, winning both the B and C Division titles for the second consecutive year.

In the B Division final, CHIJ defeated Dunman Secondary 36-23 at the OCBC Arena on Thursday. Despite a gutsy display from Dunman, it was not enough to stop the defending champions from racing to a 17-9 lead by half-time.

"We were nervous before the match, and there was pressure to live up to our seniors," said CHIJ captain Alena Ong. "Our strategy was to keep calm. No matter what happened, to take it step by step."

In the C Division final, CHIJ dominated Singapore Sports School 39-19.

"We worked hard for six months for this day," said CHIJ's C Div captain Eda Yasmin. "Even though we had some bad days where we didn't play well, we tried to encourage one another to do better for the next game."
