St Andrew's Secondary School beat arch-rivals Raffles Institution 17-5 to win the Under-14 title at the Singapore Cricket Club Schools and Colleges Sevens tournament yesterday. A minute's silence was observed at the National University of Singapore's Sports & Recreation Centre before the day's last match, the U-16 final, to honour the victims of the Paris terrorist attacks. But French school Lycee Francais de Singapour were overpowered 17-0 by Tanglin Trust School. Tanglin also won the U-18 title, beating Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) 22-14.
