Sailing: Kimberly and Savannah win silver for S'pore at 420 World Championships

Singapore's 420 pair of Kimberly Lim and Savannah Siew bagged a silver medal at the 420World and Ladies Championships in Valencia on Tuesday.

The sailors, who were fourth last year, finished the 12-race regatta on 69 points. Great Britain's Annabel Cattermole and Bryony Bennett-Lloyd (52 points) took gold while Italy's Sara Scotto di Vettimo and Vittoria Barbiero (74) brought home the bronze.

A total of 77 teams took part in the nine-day event.

Other Singapore results - Girls pairs: Elisa Yukie Yokoyama and Jazlene Ong, 17th out of 77 entries; Jillian Lee and Samantha Neubronner, 24th out of 77 entries. Boys pairs: Jonathan Yeo and Tan Jen-E, 27th out of 110 entries; Andrew Tang and Edward Lim, 31st out of 110 entries.
