Registration for the Nike She Runs SG 2013 is closed, with all 8,000 slots taken up just 10 days after the launch.

It is the fastest registration close-out for the women-only race, which flags off on May 11 and is now into its third edition.

Nike She Runs is Nike's global race series involving 85,000 female runners across 12 cities.

During the four-month series, participants from cities as diverse as Seoul, Bogota and Sydney will participate in races in various distances.

Launched on March 10 in Mexico City, the 2013 She Runs series will conclude on June 8 in Lima, Peru, capping 12 races in 12 countries.
