Women's semi-finals (tomorrow, midnight & 3am)

Led by Marta, dubbed the female Pele by the legend himself, Brazil's women will be looking to get one up on their male counterparts by reaching the final first against Sweden, victors over the United States. The 2012 bronze medallists Canada play Germany in the second semi-final.

GYMNASTICS

Men's parallel bars & horizontal bar finals (tomorrow, 1am & 2.34am), Women's floor final (tomorrow, 1.47am)

Pint-sized American gym giant Simone Biles' bid for a gold sweep continues in the floor event. After missing gold by 0.099 of a point in the men's all-around final, Ukrainian Oleg Verniaiev will aim for top billing on the parallel bars.
