Open-water swim a hit

More than 700 participants took part in four race categories - 4km, 2km, 1km and 1km team swim. Guest of honour and Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin swam the 1km race and also flagged off the Wave Kids race, in which children aged between seven and 12 familiarised themselves with open-water conditions in a 100m swim.
