Singapore beat Ireland 47-20 on Day Three of the Netball Nations Cup on Tuesday, making it three wins out of three for the host nation.
In front of a raucous home crowd at the OCBC Arena chanting "Singapura" through the match, Singapore raced into a 10-8 lead after the first quarter, and never looked back.
Powered by the effervescent Kimberly Lim, who linked attack and defence with her energy and composure on the ball, and the sound defensive display of Premila Hirubalan and captain Lin Qingyi, the home side showed their class, and limited Ireland to just five points in the last two quarters.
In other games, Malaysia beat Papua New Guinea 52-43 while Samoa overcame Botswana 49-34.
Singapore take on Samoa on Wednesday, in what will arguably be their toughest match of the round-robin stage.
The Netball Nations Cup ends on Saturday.
