Entering myself in seven events this time means I don't have much time off at these Games. In fact, there are no days off until the Para Games draw to a close on Wednesday.

So as much as I want to support my fellow athletes from other sports in person, a hectic schedule often means I'm not able to.

But, thanks to technology, I was able to virtually cheer on Team Singapore in not one, not two, but three sports yesterday.

I caught some boccia - a sport that fascinates me for the sheer amount of skill involved - some goalball and cerebral palsy football through the live feed while I was at the physio's.

Of Khairul Anwar's three stellar goals yesterday in the match against Myanmar, that lob from the half-way line was my favourite. I had to do a double take when I saw it - did that really happen?

But as unbelievable as his goals seem, I know my friend Khai is capable of such magic.

Our women goalball players were beaten 13-3 by Laos but their result is nothing to be ashamed of.

The team were set up only in the last few months and, despite the vast gap in experience compared to their opponents, they put up a strong fight.

Our family is so much bigger at these Games than I've been used to at previous editions but I really like it.

I hope all the athletes, especially those making their debut, know that these Games are just the start of a lifelong journey in sport.

Today, I will be racing in the 200m freestyle event. But not before I go cheer on Team Singapore at the powerlifting competition - in person.
