Liberty to be insurance partner of Fina World Cup in Singapore

On its 10th year of hosting a swimming World Cup leg, Singapore received a sponsorship boost yesterday from Liberty Insurance.

The company was unveiled as the official insurance partner for the Fina/airweave Swimming World Cup 2016 presented by Yakult in Singapore, committing over $100,000 to the event .

The competition, which takes place at the OCBC Aquatic Centre on Oct 21 and 22, will feature over 280 swimmers from 20 countries.

Liberty Insurance also launched its Sound of Support campaign to encourage Singaporeans to show their backing for the national swimmers in the lead-up to the competition.

The amount committed to the sponsorship comprises the costs associated with the campaign, as well as insurance coverage for the event.
