Karting: Daim in good stead to defend Rotax Max junior title after winning second round

Singaporean karter Daim Hishammudin continued to shine at the Rotax Max Asia Championship in Sepang, Malaysia, when he won the 20-lap round two with a time of 16min 40.36sec in the Rotax Junior class today.

In second place was Mitchell Cheah (16:42.96) and third was Danial Roslan (16:53.22). There were 32 drivers in the race.

Daim, 14, is on track to retain his crown after having also won the previous round in the six-round event.
