SINGAPORE SWIMMER JOSEPH SCHOOLING, ON TODAY'S 100M BUTTERFLY FINAL

WATCH THE RACE AT 9.12AM

At 9.12am today at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium, Joseph Schooling will swim the biggest race of his life. By the time he emerges from it some 33 strokes later, he could well be Singapore's first Olympic gold medallist. He has form on his side- he was the fastest qualifier and his time of 50.83sec in the semi-finals is the fastest in the world so far this year. But winning won't be easy. He is up against the world's greatest Olympian, Michael Phelps, as well as 100m butterfly world champion Chad le Clos.
