Hot Bods

C.K. Tan, 34, Co-owner and coach of a CrossFit box

Height: 1.71m Weight: 68kg

Exercise regimen: CrossFit has given me a base level of fitness to appreciate and enjoy other sports. Typically, my workouts involve lifting weights and doing body-weight movements for strength and conditioning at least thrice a week. I occasionally hit the climbing gym for bouldering if time permits.

Diet: I eat healthily on most days and try my best to avoid fried foods and sugary drinks. Most days, I start with a cup of coffee (no milk and sugar), with one teaspoon of grass-fed, unsalted butter. Lunch and dinner usually include meat, veggies and rice. I am a big fan of dark chocolate and snack on them whenever I get my hands on them.

Selena Teng, 28, Postgraduate student

Height: 1.67m Weight: 55kg

Exercise regimen: I do yoga almost every day and jog twice a week. Yoga keeps my body supple, frees my mind from the dizzying stream of thoughts for the day - and it has very much become a way of life for me. A regular cardio workout is also an essential part of a holistic exercise regimen.

Diet: My carb intake peaks at the start of the day and thereafter I try to keep my meals light but balanced.

Ice cream and chocolate are my "perk-me-ups" throughout the week.
