Horse racing: Favourite draws wide, while Street Legal takes prime position in Gold Cup

The barrier draw for Sunday's $1.35 million Longines Singapore Gold Cup to be held at the Singapore Turf Club has been announced.

Race favourite Super Ninetyseven, the winner of October's Group One $500,000 Raffles Cup, has drawn out wide in barrier no.13.

The Bruce Marsh-trained Street Legal got the luck of the draw as she drew into the favourable barrier one, and will start closest to the rail.

The rest of the results are: barrier two- Born to Fly, barrier three- Dragonfly, barrier four- Wild Geese, barrier five- Orakei Korako, barrier six- Lord Brompton, barrier seven- Littlebitofjoy, barrier eight- Dujardin, barrier nine- Musketeer, barrier 10- Cash Luck, barrier 11- Tenzing, barrier 12- Tropaios, barrier 14- Martin.
