In yesterday's final of the two-day competition which featured 46 teams, Wong partnered fellow Hong Konger Ng Tin Lai to beat defending champions Yupa Phukrongploy and Kilani Daane, a Thai-Singapore pair, 2-0. Kilani, 16, is an 11th grade student at the Singapore American School. In the men's final, Singaporean duo Mark Shen and Poon Pei Jie lost 0-2 to Indonesia's Charis Septriyanto and Engkos Kosasih.
