The 37-year-old Filipino golfer has three Asian Tour wins under his belt.

Q What's your favourite sports movie?

A Tin Cup (starring Kevin Costner). It has a great story and captures what it's like to be a golf professional.

Q Worst rule in golf?

A That you can't take relief for your ball if it lands in a divot on the fairway.

You hit a good shot and get penalised, which is unfair.

Q Who's a hit with the ladies?

A Adam Scott and Jason Day. They've got that Australian surfer vibe going for them.

Q Greatest sportsman in the world right now?A Manny Pacquiao. Not only is he a great boxer, but he's also got a good heart and gives back to the people.

Q Golfer you'd pay to watch?

A Has to be Tiger Woods, even now. I played the 2009 US Open at Bethpage and every time his group passed us on the course, you could feel the aura from him. The energy was overwhelming.

Q Your dream foursome (including yourself)?

A Tiger, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson.

Q Best golf shot seen live?

A I was with (Australian golfer) Brett Rumford during the second round of the 2011 Singapore Open. He needed to make eagle on the par-five 18th to make the cut.

From an uphill slope on the fairway, he used his driver and hit a 247m high cut and landed his ball to 1.2m of the pin. He missed the putt but it was a fantastic shot. We still talk about it.

Q Worst score on a single hole?

A 12 on a par-five. I went OB (out of bounds) three times off the tee and my mind went blank after that. This was on the second hole in the final round of the 2014 Solaire Open in the Philippines.

I had just birdied the first hole and was leading the tournament. I eventually shot an 82 and finished tied-21st.

Q Most memorable pro-am partner?

A I played with this group of Swiss guys at an Asean Tour event in the Philippines in 2007. They were living there and we kept in touch and became friends. When I played at the 2009 Omega European Masters in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, they helped me with my visa and even flew up to support me during the tournament.
