Promising golfers teeing off at the driving range at Sentosa Golf Club. About 70 locals took part in the inaugural Singapore Golf Association's (SGA) Junior Invitational. The nine-hole tournament at the Serapong Course featured four divisions (Under-12 and U-14 for boys and girls) and came on the back of the first Junior Golf Challenge held on Feb 20 at Raffles Country Club. The initiatives are to spot promising talent for the SGA's new junior squad and to drive the growth of the game in Singapore. Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) student Sean Lee (white pants), 13, won the boys' U-14 division on Monday. The next Junior Golf Challenge is scheduled for April 17 at Seletar Country Club.
