Golf: 100Plus is official supporter of next week's SMBC Singapore Open

Singapore's No. 1 isotonic drink 100Plus is official supporter of golf's SMBC Singapore Open, which returns next week after a three-year gap.

This year's event will be held from Jan 28 to 31 at the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club, home of the Singapore's national Open since 2005, and which recently was named one of the world's top 100 courses.

The tournament will be headlined by world No. 1 Jordan Spieth and also feature the top 60 from the Asian Tour, top 60 from the Japanese Golf Tour Organisation, and leading Singapore professionals and amateurs.

"We are delighted to support the SMBC Singapore Open. The field of 156 players, from around the globe are world-class examples of athletes who outdo themselves every day," said Jennifer See, general manager of F&N Foods.

Past winners include top professionals Ian Poulter, Angel Cabrera, Jeev Milkha Singh and Matteo Manassero, with Australian star Adam Scott winning a record three times in 2005, 2006 and 2010.
