To mark their company's 108th anniversary, 108 golfers from Great Eastern, led by its group chief executive officer Khor Hock Seng, teed off simultaneously at Keppel Club at 1.08pm yesterday. In doing so, they put themselves in the Singapore Book of Records for being the largest number of golfers teeing off simultaneously at a golf course.

The event, organised by the Great Eastern Life Planners Association, raised $68,888 for the Children's Cancer Foundation.
