SINGAPORE - New look golf teams are set to represent Singapore at the South-east Asian (SEA) Games held in Kuala Lumpur from Aug 19-30.

The men's team will comprise of Gregory Foo, Joshua Ho, Joshua Shou and Marc Ong while the women's team will be represented by Sarah Tan, Jacqueline Young and Callista Chen.

In the previous SEA Games edition in 2015, Singapore bagged two silvers and bronzes on home soil, but both teams are aiming for better results in KL.

Singapore Golf Association high performance manager Jerome Ng said: "It (KL SEA Games) is something that we have been preparing for since last year.

"It has been a good journey so far, but at the same time, it's very exciting as we move towards next month at the Mines.

"We're definitely looking forward towards a gold medal this year. We've been preparing hard, and I think we leave nothing behind."
