Paddling furiously to the beat of drums, dragon boat teams made a splash along the Kallang River yesterday on the first of the two-day Sports Hub Community Play Day - Water Festival. The event was attended by more than 18,000 people, who had the opportunity to try out various water-themed activities free of charge, such as the parent and child Aqua Groove dance workout, Aqua Zumba fitness class, and half-pipe surfing facility, amid other programmes at the Sports Hub's OCBC Square, Water Sports Centre and Splash-N-Surf.
