THE WILLIAMS MARTINI RACING PARTY SERIES AT CANVAS

If you are into alternative dance music, this is your party. The three-month-old club lounge is the official party venue for the Williams Martini Racing team. It has lined up many acts, including indie darlings Alex Trimble and Sam Halliday of Irish electro-pop band Two Door Cinema Club on Day 1 and English drum and bass DJ Dub Phizix & MC Strategy on Day 2. On the final race day, DJ Tujamo from Ultra/Mixmash Records entertains with electronic dance music.

POOLSIDE PITSTOP PARTY

Get wet and wild at this party inspired by the epic pool parties of Miami and Las Vegas. Pop bottles of champagne and get pumped with the high-energy remixes of DJs that include American DJ Smith Agent Smith and Taiwanese DJ Junior from famed club Spark in Taipei. They will be supported by lifestyle group Massive Collective's team of DJs, including DJs Sabrina and party duo Stas and Mathias Schell. Popular local female DJ Tinc will spin the decks. If last year's bash is anything to go by, expect to see hot bikini babes, water gun fights and champagne showers.

NIGHT RACE WEEKEND AT KU DE TA

If the view from the top of the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark is not enough to win you over, maybe the prospect of partying alongside A-list celebrities will. During the F1 weekend, Ku De Ta has hosted big-name celebrities including pop star Justin Bieber and British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. English hip-hop DJ Shortee Blitz and American DJ and turntablist Spinbad will headline Day 1 and Day 2 respectively. On the final race day, Ku De Ta's team of resident DJs will close the Grand Prix with a bang. At the outdoor SkyBar, Thai tech-house DJ Nakadia will spin on Sept 20, while local DJs Joshua P and Brendon P take over on Sept 19 and Sept 21.

THE NEVERLAND CHARITY DRIVE - DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE

JOHNNIE WALKER CIRCUIT LOUNGE

One of the coolest F1 parties in town. Started in 2009, it is held at a different venue each year and features acclaimed guest DJs. This year, there are two such parties held at The Butter Factory and new club lounge Altimate at 1-Altitude.

Come dressed in this year's theme of "bold, gold and sophisticated" and rock to the tunes spun by American female DJ Sophia Lin and Australian bass music DJ Spenda C. Prizes up for grabs include a VIP Formula One Paddock Club Experience at the race track. The lucky winner will enjoy a tour of the pit lane and a privileged vantage point above the pit garages.

PODIUM LOUNGE

Started in 2009, the Podium Lounge has become a mainstay in the F1 party calendar, with chi-chi fashion shows, charity auctions and world- renowned DJs. This year, the event is expanding from its poolside location to the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore hotel.

On the decks will be English DJ Miles Slater, music director of upscale club Boujis in Hong Kong; and Miami-based house DJ Ian Carey. Online fashion retailer Gnossem will showcase 10 fashion designers on the catwalk. There will be a live charity auction of F1 memorabilia, including a race glove signed by Sebastian Vettel and a Ferrari race suit signed by seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher.

ZOUK

The iconic home-grown nightclub is bringing in Dutch trance wunderkind Dash Berlin this year to rev up the party mood. It will also host the drivers and crew of the Williams Martini Racing next Wednesday. The fun continues on Sept 20, where revellers can gear up for UK garage music with English electronic duo Bondax at Velvet Underground. Zouk, which is known for pulling out all the stops in its themed parties, will also deck out its entire complex in F1-themed props and decor.

f CLUB

If you are a hip-hop fan who prefers to party away from the race circuit, this is the place to be. The Clarke Quay nightspot is one of the official G.H Mumm champagne brand's party venues during the race weekend and will feature a diamond-themed night on Wednesday, where women will receive a free glass of champagne and stand to win diamonds worth $20,000.

FULL STEAM AHEAD

Started as a full moon beach party in 2011, this event series launched a special edition for the F1 season starting last year. Kicking off tomorrow, partygoers will be entertained by the usual fire twirlers, pole dancers and beer pong drinking games. Expect to groove to music spun by seasoned local DJ One with Aldrin, who will be accompanied by tabla player M.S Maniam. Aldrin will be supported by a crew of home-grown DJs that include Jon White, Seng Wei and Stephen Day.

1-ALTITUDE

This three-tier establishment at the top of One Raffles Place offers one of the best views of the F1 race track. On the 63rd floor, the bar and gallery will have a Mardi Gras party theme, complete with Middle Eastern belly dancers and Brazilian percussionists. At its restaurant Stellar, get set for an international hawker centre on Sept 19, where diners can try dishes such as Spanish paella, Australian grilled meats and Belgian chocolates and waffles.

Club Altimate will host this year's Johnnie Walker Circuit Lounge party on Sept 20. Resident DJs will be spinning top 40s hits, hip-hop, R&B, house and electronic dance music through the weekend.
