Formula One: Zone 4 walkabout tickets for Singapore GP on sale from Monday

SINGAPORE - Single-day Zone 4 walkabout tickets for this year's Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix are now available, announced Singapore GP on Monday (May 30).

They are priced at $78 (Friday), $168 (Saturday) and $198 (Sunday) for the Sept 16-18 race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Walkabout allow fans to roam around areas like The Padang, The Cenotaph, Esplanade Park and Esplanade Theatres on the Bay. The race Circuit Park is open over the race weekend from 2.30pm to 12.30am daily.

Besides the main race, there will be three support races - the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the TCR International Series - on each day.

There are a limited Zone 4 walkabout tickets for Friday at a promotional price of $38. These can only be purchased over-the-counter at Sistic outlets subject to availability,

This will be the ninth edition of the Singapore GP, first held in 2008. It remains the only night race in the Formula 1 calendar.

Last year's race winner was Sebastian Vettel, who won his fourth Singapore Grand Prix since 2011.

A highlight of the Singapore GP are the concerts held at the Padang Stage, which have featured international acts like Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and Pharrell Williams last year.

This year's acts have yet to be announced.
