WITH six races to go and a precarious 22-point lead in the Formula One drivers' championship, Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg is relishing what will be a dramatic climax to the 2014 campaign with team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

"It's a big fight with Lewis - I hope you enjoy the battle and we can create some exciting moments," the German told fans at a promotional event at Paragon on Thursday.

The two 29-year-olds have set a blistering pace this year, winning all but three of the 13 races so far. The duo are heavily fancied to occupy the front row at this weekend's Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix.

Hamilton, the 2008 world champion, said: "This season has been incredible. I love racing at Marina Bay because it's a pure street circuit with no run-off areas. It's going to be a fun weekend."
